Bastrop Chamber of Commerce Benefits of Membership

The Chamber has many benefits that we provide to our members including but not limited to:

• Alphabetical and categorical listing in our membership directory,
• referrals to customers calling, writing, faxing, or e-mailing the chamber office for business information,
• a monthly newsletter that is distributed in the Bastrop Advertiser (15,000 distribution) and direct mailed to members (500+) that include inserts from members,
• monthly luncheons for networking opportunities, updates on chamber business, and informative programs,
• weekly electronic calendars that we send via e-mail every Thursday covering Chamber, non-profit and civic club events in the area and any member activities,
• quarterly mixers hosted by a member to provide networking and socializing for members,
• quarterly new member breakfasts to inform new members about benefits of membership and upcoming events of the Chamber and to solicit new member input regarding their needs,
• a concentrated effort to bring new business and tourism to Bastrop and to assist existing businesses,
• several chamber sponsored, community wide events,
• and periodic training sessions to assist our members.
