General Guidelines for Nominations & Recognition

• Incomplete nominations will not be considered.
• Past award recipients are not eligible.
• Only one nomination is required for consideration.
• Nominations will be retained for up to 3 years for future consideration.
• Award winners will be honored at the Chamber Banquet, Luncheon, and featured in the Annual Report on the Chamber website.
• Current members of the Bastrop Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors are ineligible.

 

Emerging Business of the Year Award

Honors a newer business that exemplifies entrepreneurial spirit, innovation, business excellence, and strong community involvement in the Bastrop region.

Eligibility:

• In operation for less than 5 years
• Bastrop Chamber member in good standing

Award Criteria:

• Entrepreneurial spirit
• Innovative approaches to business
• Support for the local economy
• Inclusive and positive workplace culture
• High integrity and excellence in customer service
• Active community involvement
• Positive influence on the local business climate
