Man/Woman of the Year

General Guidelines for Nominations & Recognition

• Incomplete nominations will not be considered.
• Past award recipients are not eligible.
• Only one nomination is required for consideration.
• Nominations will be retained for up to 3 years for future consideration.
• Award winners will be honored at the Chamber Banquet, Luncheon, and featured in the Annual Report on the Chamber website.
• Current members of the Bastrop Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors are ineligible.

 

Man/Woman of the Year Award

Celebrates an individual who has made significant, selfless contributions to the Bastrop region through volunteerism and community service.

Eligibility:

• Currently living in and residing within the Bastrop region
• Demonstrates excellent personal character

Award Criteria:

• Contributions beyond paid job/career responsibilities
• Significant, unpaid service to the community
• Long-term positive impact
• Civic involvement
• Active participation in local service, church, or community organizations
